Myra Rutledge is a wealthy woman and is also the founder of the Sisterhood. The descriptions of the central characters in this series are as follows: It was continued in the next novel, which was titled ‘Payback’ and was published in the year 2004. The first novel was titled ‘Weekend Warriors’ in the year 2003, which introduced the characters and the plot of the series. The initial couple of novels of the series were very successful, which laid the foundation of a well written series of 24 novels. With each act of justice, the women keep growing bolder and stronger. They believe that in case of any injustice, there are two options either to play dead or to fight back. With their bonding growing stronger, the women discover their inner strength and keep changing the wrong to right that they face in their lives. To deal with their problems, these seven women form a group under the name of ‘Sisterhood’. They face problems of a cheating husband, sexist colleagues and an unjust legal system to name a few. The novels in this series show the lives if seven different women, who have experienced an unfair life at some point or the other. The series deals with the problems faced by women and the ways to deal with them.
